Government Science College, Veraval successfully organized a special program to celebrate International Women’s Day on 10 March 2026. The event aimed to promote awareness about women’s empowerment, health, leadership, and the vital role of women in society.
The program featured inspiring talks by distinguished speakers Dr. Foram Parekh (M.D. Gynecologist, Aditya Birla Hospital, Veraval) and Ms. Shushilaben Rameshbhai Gohel (Chairman, Sagar Manthan Machhimar Utthan Producer Company Ltd., Veraval), who shared valuable insights on women’s health, resilience, entrepreneurship, and empowerment.
The session was also addressed by Dr. Smita B. Chhag, Principal, Government Science College, Veraval, who encouraged students to build confidence, pursue their ambitions, and contribute positively to society.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Mamta H. Chauhan (Women Development Cell) and Dr. Priya L. Mange (Innovation Cell), with enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members, making the celebration meaningful and inspiring.
