The inauguration of the Sanskrit Sambhashan Varg was organized at Government Science College, Veraval on 19 August 2026 with the objective of promoting conversational Sanskrit and developing an interest in the Sanskrit language among students. The programme was organized in collaboration with Shri Somnath Sanskrit University, Veraval. Professor Dr. Amisha Dave, along with Ph.D. scholars Ms. Seema Makwana and Ms. Vaishali Barad, graced the occasion as invited experts and resource persons. Dr. Dhananjay Pandya, Gujarat State Sanskrit Board Nodal Officer, welcomed the guests and explained the purpose and significance of organizing the Sanskrit Sambhashan Varg. Dr. Smita Chhag, Principal, Government Science College, Veraval, addressed the gathering and encouraged students to actively participate in the programme and make the best use of the opportunity to learn Sanskrit through communication.
