On 12th August 2026, an Employment Registration Camp and Career Guidance Seminar was organized at Government Science College, Veraval by the Employment Office, Gir Somnath. The programme aimed to create awareness among students about employment opportunities, Employment Card registration, career planning, and various avenues for professional growth. Students from the college and nearby areas actively participated in the programme.
A total of 87 students participated in the camp and benefited from the information and guidance provided. As part of the Employment Registration Camp, 2 students successfully applied for and received their Employment Cards. The programme helped students understand the importance of employment registration and provided useful information about available employment opportunities and government employment services.
The programme was coordinated by Dr. S. M. Sitapara, Mr. J. B. Zala, and Dr. M. F. Dhaduk. The seminar proved highly beneficial in guiding students towards suitable career opportunities and encouraging them to take informed steps for their future. The programme received a positive response from the participating students and contributed to enhancing awareness about employment and career development.
