As part of Rashtriya Poshan Maah 2026, Government Science College, Veraval organized a Healthy Plate Competition on 24th September 2026 to promote awareness about balanced nutrition, dietary diversity, adequate protein, healthy food choices and overall well-being. π

Students creatively prepared 12 different healthy and nutritious plates, thoughtfully combining diverse food groups and essential nutrients to demonstrate the importance of a balanced and wholesome meal. π₯ππ₯¦πΎ
The preparations were presented before the Principal, Event Coordinator and faculty members, who appreciated the students for their creativity, nutritional awareness, presentation and efforts.

The competition successfully encouraged students to understand and practice the principles of variety, balance and adequate nutrition in their daily meals. π±β¨
The programme was coordinated by Dr. Mamta H. Chauhan, Coordinator, Rashtriya Poshan Maah, GSCV, under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Smita B. Chhag, with the support of the teaching staff.
