As a part of promoting academic excellence and digital inclusivity, an orientation session on “One Nation One Subscription (ONOS) and User Account Creation for F.Y.B.Sc. Students” was conducted by Dr. Dhananjay Pandya, ONOS Nodal Officer, Government Science College Veraval for the F.Y.B.Sc. Students to introduce the One Nation One Subscription (ONOS) - a government initiative on 25th September 2026 from 2 to 3:30 pm in CR-5 at college. Thirty-eight students (17 Boys and 21 Girls) attended this orientation session. The session aimed to create awareness about the benefits of ONOS, a government-led program providing access to a wide range of scholarly e-resources including journals, databases, and publications across disciplines. During the session, students were guided on how to effectively use these resources for their academic and research pursuits. User accounts were successfully created for 50 students (28 Boys and 22 Girls) of B.Sc. Sem-1 students to ensure seamless access to the ONOS platform. This initiative will empower students with quality digital content, thereby enhancing their learning experience and research potential.
