Government Science College Veraval (Gir-Somnath) celebrated second week of January 2025 as Sports Week, Science Carnival and Annual Function from 6th January to 10th January 2025. Under Fine-Arts Band of Saptadhara, 'Best out of waste', 'Collage making' and 'Clay modeling' competitions were held on 9h January 2025. The rules for all these competitions were explained by the coordinator and students were provided necessary raw material for the competition. The duration of this competition was about four hours. Dr. D. K. Pandya coordinated this event for the students under the supervision and guidance of principal of the college, Dr. Smita Chhag Madam. All the teaching and non-teaching staff members of the college supported a lot to make these competitions successful. Ten students, four students and three students participated 'Best out of waste', 'Collage making' and 'Clay modeling' competitions respectively.
